to meet the new Governor of Hong Kong. Sir Alexander Grantham arrived here from the United States last Friday and is leaving for Hong Kong on the 12th July. I mentioned to him the possibility of your paying a visit to Hong Kong and he said that he would very much like to meet you. He will be coming to my Office in Downing Street next wednesday afternoon (the 14th May) and I wonder whether it would be convenient for you to call at, say, 3.30 p.m. on that afternoon to meet him.
Yours sincerely,
(N.L. Hayle)
